The Giants have added TE Ben Patrick, signing the former Cardinal to a one-year deal. Adam Caplan of FOX Sports first reported the news.
Patrick visited the team on Monday and will likely be the New York's second tight end, assuming a deal can be worked out with free agent Kevin Boss. In four seasons with the Cardinals, Patrick caught 45 passes, including four touchdowns.
The signing does not indicate the team is done with Boss, as negotiations with the free agent are still ongoing.
