High fat intake lowers body fat so rather than restricting fats we should consume them more. The lipase enzyme found in the stomach and pancreatic juice, is a naturally occurring enzyme also present within fats in the foods we eat. Lipase enzyme digests fats and lipids, aiding to maintain correct gall bladder function. Lipase enzyme is needed in sufficient amount since lipase burn fat-stores to be used as fuel and also effectively inhibits fatty acid synthesis, or fat storage.
Lower thyroid levels and a low-carbohydrate diet in lean person are normal and healthy. Metabolic rate and temperature has long been connected with longevity. All mechanisms increasing lifespan result in lower temperature. Restricting calories result in lower temperature, reduced thyroid levels, and longer life in many animals. Human body also chose to lower thyroid hormones in response to increased consumption of energy and hormonal signaling (like thyroid).
Low cholesterol levels will promote aging. Cholesterol is the important building block for the basic hormones: DHEA, testosterone progesterone, estrogen. Lowering cholesterol will lower production of hormones increasing the aging process. Lower cholesterol levels have been associated with, irritability, paranoia, aggressiveness, hostility and severe depression. Low cholesterol is a marker for poor underlying health.
Aerobic training increases body fat. Rhythmic-type aerobics done for a long duration on a frequent basis can signal the body to store fat. The body prefers fat for energy production and adapts to aerobic activities by storing fat (hips and thighs) to become more efficient for future use.
Static Stretching makes one weak. Static stretching of 90 min duration weakens muscles, decrease power and strength by 30 percent.
