Dartmouth College worker hurt after fall from window

HANOVER ? A Dartmouth College employee was injured Saturday when he fell from a two-story fraternity house window while allegedly using illicit drugs, police said Monday.

Police responded to Sigma Nu fraternity shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday after the 21-year-old man exited a second-floor window at the fraternity and fell to the ground. He was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for the injuries he sustained.

Police did not release his name, but said he is an employee of the college and that he and two other men who were allegedly using LSD and marijuana in the room on the premises prior to the fall are under investigation.

One of the men, a 20-year-old not affiliated with the college, was found by police on the property of another fraternity and taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock for treatment of symptoms associated with the drug use, police said.

Police also found the third man, a 22-year-old, at another fraternity. Police determined he did not need medical attention.

Police said the 22-year-old is a 2013 graduate of Dartmouth College, who is renting a room on the second floor of the Sigma Nu fraternity.

?None of the males were otherwise affiliated with the Sigma Nu fraternity,? police said.

Police conducted multiple interviews and executed eight search warrants during the Saturday evening investigation.

?Further investigation is pending. No charges have been filed to date,? police said.
